Rochford names selection for make-or-break encounter
Caretaker Mayo manager Stephen Rochford has named his selection to face Donegal in the All-Ireland Football Championship Round 3 match on Sunday at King & Moffatt Dr. Hyde Park, Roscommon (4 p.m.)
There are two changes to the starting fifteen that defeated Tyrone two weeks ago.
Dylan Thornton, Ballina Stephenites. and Jordan Flynn, Crossmolina Deel Rovers, replace Sean Morahan and Bob Tuohy.
Mayo and Donegal have met on five occasions in the championship.
Donegal won the first two meetings, the 1992 All-Ireland semi-final and the 2012 All-Ireland final.
Mayo have won the three most recent meetings, the 2013 and 2015 quarter-finals, and the 2019 Qualifier meeting.
The first four meetings were played in Croke Park, with the 2019 meeting being held in MacHale Park.
Mayo's record in Hyde Park is 12 wins and 1 draw since 2001
Jack Carney will make his 50th League and Championship appearance
Paddy Durcan will captain the team on the day.
Referee on the day is Paul Faloon from Co. Down.
