Hot again tomorrow as Mayo to bask in blistering heat

Sunshine looks set to continue across the weekend, according to the latest forecast.

FRIDAY, JUNE 20

Friday will be very warm or hot.

Overall dry with spells of high summer sunshine, however showers may break out locally. Humid with top temperatures of 24 to 28 degrees, in mostly moderate southeast breezes.

Turning more unsettled as an Atlantic regime takes hold.

SATURDAY NIGHT:

While warm sunshine is expected, a scattering of showers will occur too, some heavy and possibly thundery.

Top temperatures of 19 to 25 degrees, warmest across the eastern half of the country, all in a light to moderate southwest wind.
