Mayo villagers mystified over swift disappearance of flower pots

Villagers in Turlough are saddened and mystified over the disappearance of new flower pots from outside the local community centre.

A post on the local community heritage Facebook page revealed new flower pots that were only bought and put in place for less than 24 hours before being stolen.

"If anyone has any information please contact us. We are checking our CCTV cameras to try and find out what happened," the post added.

Unfortunately, the stealing or vandalising of flowers placed outside public property is not an uncommon issue across the county.
