Work of Mayo seaside community recognised by prestigious award
A Mayo seaside village has been recognised in the 2025 RIAI Architecture Awards.
One of the research awards was presented to Mulranny WAY – a project by Brock Finucane that arose from an RIAI architectural commission for Mulranny Tidy Towns.
The RIAI recognise the importance of research and the benefits it can bring to our communities by driving innovation and engagement.
The accolade is a prestigious recognition of the work of Mulranny Tidy Towns.
The Mulranny WAY project refers to a community-led initiative focused on enhancing Mulranny village, particularly its connection to the Wild Atlantic Way and the Great Western Greenway.
It involves a collaborative approach to address road safety, public realm improvements, and sustainable transportation, resulting in the Mulranny Promenade and other enhancements.
