Emma's scoring exploits inspires Kilmurry to Mayo title

Kilmurry were crowned Mayo Women's League Under 17 Premier Division champions yesterday evening after running out 6-2 winners in the play-off final versus Killala played at Belleek Park, Ballina.

Emma Sheridan had four goals for Kilmurry, who led 3-0 at half-time in the title decider.

Goals too for Niah Barrett and Claire Hegarty in the first half, with Sheridan netting the first of her haul soon after kick-off.

Caoimhe O'Donnell scored both Killala goals, the first just after the restart, but it was to be Kilmurry's night.
