Community engagement event held in Mayo community

The Mayo North East's Empowering Communities Programme (ECP) hosted a community engagement event at their pop-up community garden in Greenhills, Ballina.

Both adults and children enjoyed the hot-dogs and refreshments, and an opportunity to socialise with their friends and neighbours.

All of the planters in the ECP’s pop-up gardens are made using upcycled pallets in their workshop by TUS and RSS participants.

The ECP is a pilot area based social inclusion project in 18 locations throughout the country.
