Prominent Mayo town centre property linked with new retail investment

A prominent building in Castlebar town centre is expected to be brought back into use shortly.

The former Ulster Bank at Ellison Street has been vacant since its closure on April 21, 2023.

The website of O'Toole & Co. Auctioneers, Westport, confirms that an offer is under consideration for the leasing of the property as a retail outlet.

A sign on the building is also indicating an imminent development in terms of its reopening as a new commercial entity.
