Wild wet and windy weather across Mayo ahead of the weekend

Windy and wintry conditions set for much of Mayo tomorrow, according to the latest forecast.

FRIDAY, JULY 4

Mostly cloudy overall with outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading from the northwest through the day.

Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southwesterly winds, reaching near gale at times along coasts.

Mixed conditions this weekend.

Generally improving next week but with the chance of showers.

FRIDAY NIGHT:

Cloudy on Friday night with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle along with some hill and coastal mist and fog.

Breezy for a time, but the southwesterly winds will gradually moderate.

Mild and humid with lowest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees.
