Conncert Festival set to return to the shores of famed Mayo lake

The Conncert Festival is back in August bringing another carefully curated lineup of top Irish acts to The Lodge pub on the shores of Lough Conn after a hugely successful debut in 2024.

Running from 3 p.m. until late, on Saturday, August 9 this unique not-for-profit event showcases eight diverse acts from across the island of Ireland, offering a rich blend of experimental, indie, and alternative sounds in a one-of-a-kind lakeside setting.

Running from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. at The Lodge in Cloghans, Knockmore, the not-for-profit event is organised by a team of dedicated local volunteers.

The festival will feature an impressive eight-act line-up of Irish talent, including Hedgling, Human Lanterns, Patrick Kelleher, The Bonk, Biological Speculation, Non Sleep, Nichts, and solo artist Elaine Malone.

The Conncert is run entirely by local volunteers, with all proceeds going toward paying the artists, sound engineers, designers, and technical crews involved.

Festival-goers are encouraged to make use of sustainable transport options, with limited parking available at the venue.

A special return bus service between Ballina and the festival site will be in operation.

Attendees are also encouraged to carpool or use taxis.

For those looking to make a night of it, camping will be available near the pub at no extra cost, including access to toilets and drinking water.

There will also be a designated area for camper vans to enhance the full festival atmosphere.

Food vendors will be on-site, catering to a range of tastes and dietary needs. Revellers are also strongly encouraged to bring cash as there is no ATM on site.

Tickets are priced at €25 plus a booking fee and are available online through TicketTailor.

Organisers have expressed their gratitude to TheNCF Cultural Co-op and Mayo County Council for their continued support of the event.
