Mayo LEADER Programme 2023-27 launched by minister

The LEADER Programme 2023-27 in Mayo has been launched by Minister for Social Protection and Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary.

Mayo Local Action Group (LAG) is delighted to announce that the LEADER programme 2023-27 is now open to accept expressions of interest.

With a project budget of €6.6 million for Mayo, LEADER funding is available for various initiatives, including economic development, rural infrastructure, and sustainable development of the rural environment.

LEADER is a Community Led Local Development (CLLD) approach that involves the participation of rural communities in developing responses to the key economic, environmental and social challenges identified in their areas.
