Flying south Mayo boys win silver at national level

Claremorris Athletics Club is celebrating a fantastic achievement after their Under 13 boys team sprinted to a silver medal in the 4 x 100m relay at the National Juvenile Championships in Tullamore on Sunday, clocking a new personal best in the process.

The talented team – Philip Griffith, Luke Duffy, Harry Mulkeen, Dean Kirrane, Sean Hession and Arthur Moore – delivered a powerful performance on the national stage.

Their sharp exchanges and sheer determination earned them second place in a highly competitive field, showcasing the depth of young athletic talent in Claremorris.

Coaches and club members praised the boys not only for their result, but also for their dedication in training leading up to the championships.

Their silver medal marks a significant achievement for both the athletes and Claremorris AC.
