Two hospitalised following collision involving cyclists in Mayo

Gardaí are investigating a road traffic incident that occurred on the R310 at Knockmore, Co. Mayo, on Thursday evening, July 17.

The collision, which happened at approximately 7 p.m., involved a vehicle and a group of nine cyclists.

Emergency services responded promptly to the scene.

Two male cyclists, one in his 40s and another in his 30s, were taken to hospital as a precaution.

A Garda spokesperson confirmed that enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
