Two titles could be decided in Mayo Women's League tonight
WITH one divisional title in the Eco Powered Cabinets Mayo Women's League decided, today (Friday) promises an exciting evening's football with the remaining two there for the taking.
Ballina Town are officially champions of Division 2 heading into their visit to Glenhest later, with one game remaining for them at home.
Town have enjoyed a wonderful season and will be looking to make it a double when they face off against Achill Rovers in the Division 2 Cup final later in the month.
In the Premier Division, Manulla will be looking to bounce back from their previous league defeat at the hands of Castlebar Town. A win is a must for the women from Manulla if they are to draw level with Town on points and push the title deciding match out to the last game of the season.
Anything less, and Town will be celebrating as champions this weekend.
In Division 1, a point for Kilmore on their travels to Killala would earn them the title this evening. Lose and it leaves the door open for Kiltimagh Knock United to force a play-off should they beat Westport United in their final game, with neither KK or the west Mayo side in action this weekend.
Kick-off times in all games are down for 7.30 p.m.
