Nine complete training with south Mayo defibrillator group

A group of nine locals have completed a defibrillator training session organised by Roxboro Defibrillator Group at Ballinrobe Parish Centre.

Led by instructor Maura Morrin, the session covered CPR techniques and the correct use of a defibrillator, equipping participants with essential emergency response skills.

The training was organised as part of ongoing efforts to maintain certification among local volunteers and to encourage new participation. It was supported in part by committee funding, with attendees contributing on a donation basis.

The trainees were Mary O'Sullivan, Joe Kavanagh, Sean McCormack, Mary Kavanagh, Ann Monaghan, Noreen Gilligan, Michael Fleming, Marie Burke and Marguerite Culkeen.
