Mayo musical society announcing 2026 production this weekend

BALLINROBE Musical Society’s 2026 production will be announced during the interval of this Sunday’s Queen of the Lakes pageant, which will be held in the Pavillion at Ballinrobe Racecourse.

The Queen of the Lakes pageant will commence at 7 p.m. and is the finale of what has been an enjoyable and well-attended Ballinrobe Festival.

Ballinrobe Musical Society have extended a sincere thanks to Ballinrobe Community School, who have kindly allowed them to stage their next production there from April 5 to 11, 2026.

Ballinrobe Musical Society received two AIMS award nominations for their 2025 production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The society was nominated for Best Chorus, while Sarah Corcoran was nominated for Best Female Singer for her portrayal of Esmerelda.
