August date for Belcarra 8k fun run

BELCARRA community are once again holding their annual 8k run on Sunday, August 10.

The event welcomes walkers, joggers and runners of all abilities to the lovely village of Belcarra for what hopefully will be a great day.

Last year's run attracted over one hundred participants, and this is always a firm favourite in the runners' calendar in Mayo.

This year for the main run at 11 a.m., participants can register online (link on Belcarra Ireland socials) or in person, in Belcarra Community Centre, from 9.30 a.m. on Sunday, August 10.

Tickets are €15 for Over 16s, and €25 for a family. As usual, you can expect a warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, and a good cup of tea, a sandwich, and something sweet for afterwards.

Bring the family, or bring a friend, for what is sure to be a lovely event, raising money for Belcarra Community Council's ongoing costs and future initiatives.
