Sligo angler O'Donovan impressively hooks world title on Mayo lake
Thomas O'Donovan, Ballisodare, Co. Sligo, has won the the 2025 World Cup Trout Fly Angling Championship on Lough Mask.
He emerged victorious in a very competitive event involving anglers from at home and abroad.
O'Donovan caught 4 fish, collectively weighing 5.280 lbs
In second place was Joe Featherstone, Leinster, with fish weighing 5.268 lbs.
