MARTIN NEARY, KILMOVEE

Martin Neary, Kilmovee and formerly of Nottingham (UK) and New Antrim Street, Castlebar.

Predeceased by his parents Martin and Bridget, sisters Katherine and Betty and brothers Pat. and Michael.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Anne, Son Christopher (Bangor Erris), daughters Siobhan (Nottingham) and Martine Sellers (Nottingham) sisters Mingie (USA), Teresa (London), Anne (Limerick) and Jo (Dublin) grandaughter Nicole, sons-in-law Nick Sellers and Neil Radford, daughter-in-law Meri, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Martin will repose in Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, on Friday from 5.30 p.m. until 7 p.m. followed by removal to The Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Requiem Mass on Saturday at 1.30 p.m. with funeral afterwards to Aughavale Cemetery, Westport.

MARTIN PARKINSON, ISLANDEADY

Martin Parkinson, Raheens, Islandeady.

Beloved husband of Kathy, and father of Úna and Dónal.

Martin will be sadly missed by his brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephew, relatives, neighbours and many dear friends.

Reposing in Navin's Funeral Home Westport on Thursday, August 7 from 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Funeral arriving to St. Patrick's Church Islandeady on Friday, August 8 at 10.30 a.m. for Mass at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in Islandeady Cemetery.

MARTIN FALLON, BALLYHAUNIS

Martin Fallon, Lohan Park Group Home, Brickens, and formerly of Westport and Dublin.

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary, brother Sean and sister Maureen. He will be dearly missed by his cousin Eddie Horan (Brickens), wife Bridie. Eddie's children Maura, Cathy (Stefan), Tina (Patrick), Seamie (Michelle) and Conor. And their children Faye, Shane, Robyn, Kilian, Lucas and Dylan.

Funeral will arrive to St Therese's church Brickens on Thursday morning for Funeral mass at 11.30 a.m. with cremation afterwards in Shannon Crematorium at 3 p.m.

MICHAEL FITZPATRICK, CASTLEBAR

Michael Fitzpatrick, Rinshinna, Castlebar and late of Lower Charles Street, Castlebar, Foxborough, Massachusetts, Bronx, NYC and Ballyglass, Scardaune, Claremorris.

Predeceased by his son Kevin, parents Mary (O’Toole) and Mattie, brothers Peter, Tony, Patrick, Jimmy and Tom, sisters Mary, Nellie, Winnie and Anne Marie, brother-in-law David, mother-in-law Anastasia (Ryan) and father-in-law Martin (Ryan).

Michael will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.

ETHEL BALFE, CLAREMORRIS

Ethel Balfe, Newcastle, Galway and late of Convent Road, Claremorris.

Predeceased by her parents May and John Balfe, brothers Eamonn and Seanie and by her sister Maura.

Sadly missed by her sisters Anne and Noreen, brother Liam, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and all her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great-grandnieces and many dear friends.

Thursday, August 7 reposing at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Requiem Mass on Friday, August 8 will be celebrated for Ethel on arrival at St. James’ Church, Bushy Park at 11 a.m.

Following Mass, Ethel will be laid to rest in her beloved Mayo with her relatives in St. Colman's Cemetery, Claremorris.

ANGELA REYNOLDS, BOHOLA

Angela Reynolds (née Byrne) Granlahan, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon, and formerly of Carroward, Bohola.

Predeceased by her parents, Jim and Nora. Angela will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken family, daughters Deirdre (Callan Reynolds, Dublin), Sineád (Reynolds O’Brien, Dublin), Narena (Cotter, Galway), and son Patrick (Dublin). Her adored grandchildren Síofra, Isaac, Conor, and Caolin. Also, by her brothers Padraig (Bray) and Tom (Mayo), and sister Marion (Leixlip), daughter-in-law Tara, sons-in-law Cathal, Keith, and Paul, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours, and her circle of friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea on Thursday evening, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Granlahan on Friday for funeral Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Bohola.

MARTIN CHRISTOPHER FLAHERTY, CASTLEBAR

Martin Christopher Flaherty (Christy), Lightford, Castlebar.

Predeceased by his loving wife Esther (née Roche) in 2017, parents Martin and Agnes (née Brennan) Flaherty, brother Eamonn (Dunganstown, Co. Wicklow) and the deceased members of the Flaherty and Roche families.

Sadly missed and forever loved by his heartbroken family, Ruth (Churchtown, Dublin), Christopher and his wife Siobhan (Sion Hill, Castlebar), Aisling and her husband Martin Lyons, (Old Knock Road, Claremorris), John Paul and his wife Theresa (Watertown, MA.) and Joseph (Lightford), his cherished grandchildren Adam, Alexa, Luca, Holly, Lucas and Eoin and his brother Ray (Westwood, MA.), sisters Mary Lynch and her husband Seamus (Kilpeacon, Co. Limerick), Josephine Spain and her husband Gerry (Thurles, Co. Tipperary), Margaret Corcoran and her husband John (Dublin), brothers-in-law Tom, and Don, 23 nieces and nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Christy was a passionate and dedicated farmer all his life, as a young farmer he supplied milk and vegetables to the town of Castlebar. He loved the land and enjoyed working outdoors. His other great interests were sport and hunting. He was a lifelong member of Mayo GAA and Castlebar Mitchels. He was well known in the area and he had many friends in farming and sporting circles.

Christy will repose at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., with private removal to his home.

The funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Saturday, August 9 at 11 a.m. for Funeral Mass at 11.30 a.m.

This Mass will also be offered for his beloved wife Esther whose 8th anniversary occurs at this time.

Christy will be laid to rest with his beloved Esther, in Ballyheane Cemetery following the Mass.

MARGARET CAMPBELL, ACHILL

Margaret Campbell, Howth, Co. Dublin and formerly of Achill Island.

Adored wife of the late Michael and beloved mum of Jacquie, Tommy, Mary, Anne, Monica and Colette, sons-in-law Gerry, Sean, Mick, Alec, Joel and Tommy’s partner Sharon. As well as her adored 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. All shared in a life so beautifully lived.

While Margaret will be missed by all who knew and loved her – she will be forever remembered for her incredible strength, her unending ability to love, and her immense energy for life.

Margaret will be reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Wednesday, August 6, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Her funeral mass will take place on Thursday, August 7 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption, Howth, followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.

TIMOTHY BROWNE, THE NEALE

Timothy Browne, Luton, England, and formerly of Bunnadubber, The Neale.

Predeceased by his wife Mary, brothers Tommy, Paddy and John, and sister Bertha.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sons David and Declan, daughter Laura, brother Martin, sister Lily, grandchildren, son-in-law and daughters-in-law, nieces,nephews and many friends.
