Mayo gets ready to celebrate Culture Night
CULTURE Night 2025 will take place on Friday, September 19, with a vibrant and diverse line-up of free cultural events taking place across Ireland, including Mayo.
The 20th edition of this all-island celebration, powered by the Arts Council and local authorities, with funding from the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport, invites people of all ages and backgrounds to discover new experiences, embrace creativity, and enjoy the rich cultural energy alive in every corner of the country year-round.
Details on upcoming events for Culture Night across Mayo will be available here, with more events being added closer to the date.
From outdoor screenings to tattoo pop-ups and hands-on craft sessions, this year’s programme encourages audiences to experience arts and culture in both traditional and exciting new ways. Expect new collaborations and performances to unfold, from galleries and pubs, to kitchens, gardens, theatres, and even laneways.
Adding to the excitement, many events will extend late into the evening as part of the popular 'Culture Night Late' strand, proudly supported by the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport under the Night-Time Economy initiative.
Full programme details, including accessibility information and participating venues, can be found on the official Culture Night website.
The website and Culture Night's social media channels will provide ongoing updates on new events, with further listings continuing until September 19.
