All systems go for Swinford show on new site

SWINFORD Agricultural Show has moved to a new location for this year's 34th annual show on Sunday, August 24.

The show is now located at the Tony Gleeson Farm on the Cullane Road, just on the outskirts of Swinford town.

With ample on-site parking, this year's show promises to be bigger and better than ever, with competition classes in cattle, sheep, equestrian, poultry, dogs and home industries.

There will be lots of entertainment on the day for all the family. Enjoy dancing with Stuart Moyles and band, with a dance floor on site for the day. Kiddies entertainment includes a pet farm, bouncy castles, face painting and much more.

The show office will be open from Tuesday to Friday, August 19 to 22, at the Tower Giftshop on Main Street in Swinford.
