TREVOR MORROW, BALLINA

Trevor Morrow, Woodview, The Quay, Ballina.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary, parents Pauline and Fredrick.

Trevor, loving father of Paul (Limerick), Gillian (Ballina), Brian (Ballina) and Jennifer (Dublin).

Sadly missed by his sons, daughters, daughters-in-law Carol and Ciara, son-in-law Ronan, grandchildren Kevin, Aaron, Gavin, Conor, Sophie, Noah and Bobby, sisters Marjorie and Doris, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina on Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. until 7.30 p.m.

Funeral will arrive to St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina on Thursday morning for Mass at 11.30 a.m. followed by burial in Killanley Cemetery.

JOHN MURRAY, SWINFORD

John Murray, Dublin Road, Swinford, and formerly of Lacken.

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Murray, Castletown, Carrowmore Lacken.

Deeply loved and missed by his beloved wife Evelyn (Brogan), daughter Karen, sons Brian and John, his sisters Maura, Anne, and Margaret, grandchildren, family circle, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Campbell's Funeral Home, Swinford on Wednesday, August 13 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Johns Funeral Mass will take place at 12 noon on Thursday, August 14 in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Swinford. Cremation will take place at a later date.

PAUL REILLY, BELMULLET

Paul Reilly, native of Church Street, Bellmullet, longtime resident of Elmhurst.

Beloved and devoted husband of the late Rose, (née) Feeney, companion of Philomena O’Leary his loving, loyal and devoted partner of 14 years.

Dear brother of Annie Maria, Sean, Dominick, Tony and the late Kathleen May, Sadie, Martin, Christy, Gerard and Paddy, cherished son of the late Dominick and the late Sabina (née) Lavelle, loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Paul was a true sportsman, before moving to the Chicago area he was a former member of the John Boyle Reilly Club in Springfield, Mass. He played Irish Football for John Mc Bride’s for many years. A proud GAA fan, member of the IAHC, handball player and an avid runner with his late wife Rose and between them they completed over 500 races including 7 marathons all for charity. Paul’s love for dogs was well known, especially for his current love Maggie.

Visitation Tuesday, August 12, 2025, 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst. Friends and family will meet Wednesday, August 13, 2025, for a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside.

SHIRALEE THOMSON, CONG

Shiralee “Shaz” Thomson, Aughalard, Cong, and formerly of Caherlistrane and Kilgill, and originally, Broxburn, Scotland.

She will be sorely missed by Kevin, Shannon and Lauren and her partner Patrick Higgins (Rocky). Kevin, Lauren and Shannon would especially like to thank all of the staff at UHG who cared for Shaz these last few weeks. Their kindness has been incredible during a very difficult time. The family would also like to thank all of their extended family and friends for their support
