Mayo teacher co-authors new Junior Cycle maths book

A Mayo teacher has co-authored a new Junior Cycle maths book, which is on shelves now.

Lorna Jordan, originally from Facefield but now living in Claremorris, is co-author of the latest Junior Cycle maths textbook to hit the market: Level Up 1.

This is the first in a series of new maths textbooks from Educate.ie to carry students through from first year maths to Leaving Cert higher level.

Lorna is a former student of Mount St. Michael Secondary School in Claremorris and currently teach maths at Ballinrobe Community School.

She said of the new publication: “I completed my teacher training at Oxford University and have been working on this project for over a year now.

"It’s very exciting to finally see the finished product in bookshops.”
