Mayo LGFA appoints Diane O’Hora as new senior team manager

Mayo LGFA has appointed Diane O’Hora as manager of the senior team following ratification at a meeting of the county board.

A three-time All-Ireland winner with Mayo and former All-Star, O’Hora is one of the county’s most decorated players and brings an extensive coaching and managerial background to the role.

She has previously managed at both county and club level, earning recognition for her leadership, tactical expertise, and passion for developing players.

Welcoming the appointment, Mayo LGFA chairperson Sinéad Stagg said: “We are thrilled to confirm Diane as our new senior manager. Diane’s deep knowledge of the game, her experience at the highest level, and her lifelong commitment to Mayo football make her an outstanding choice to lead our senior ladies team.”

Mayo LGFA wishes to thank all candidates who took part in the interview process for their commitment to supporting the development of ladies football in the county.

The board concluded by saying it looks forward to supporting Diane O’Hora and her management team as they prepare for the season ahead.
