Mayo braces for final day of heatwave tomorrow
Another dry day on the horizon but thunderstorms possible, according to the latest forecast.

MONDAY, AUGUST 18
Largely dry tomorrow with sunny spells, it will be cloudier in southern parts of Connacht with showers developing, possibly heavy at times with a chance of thunderstorms.
Highest temperatures of 22 to 25 degrees in light to moderate easterly breezes.
Further showers at first, especially in the southwest, before becoming drier into midweek as temperatures fall back slightly but continue above average for the time of year.
MONDAY NIGHT:
Further showers expected for the southwestern half of the country, some of which will be heavy.
Mostly dry elsewhere with clear spells and just the chance of isolated showers.
Lowest temperatures of 11 to 17 degrees in mostly light east to northeast breezes.
