Mayo Rose Clara Gardiner all set for Rose of Tralee

THE 2025 Mayo Rose, Clara Gardiner, will take to the stage tonight (Monday) at the famous Rose of Tralee international contest at MTU’s Kerry Sports Academy, Tralee.

Clara, a native of Kilfian, will be the seventh contestant to enter the stage, with the programme being screened live on RTÉ One from 8 p.m.

Clara is 24 years old and is a full-time student in St. Angela’s, Sligo, where she is studying a bachelors degree in home economics education. Clara is a proud mum to her son, Noah, who turned three on August 7 last.

The Kilfian native loves singing and playing guitar at weddings and gigs, and her hobbies include running, reading, baking and creating art.

The Rose of Tralee pageant is again hosted by Dáithí Ó Sé and Kathryn Thomas this year, with Carl Mullan the MC.

Clara is wished the very best of luck tonight from her family, friends and supporters.

The last Rose of Tralee winner from Mayo was Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin in 2005 and was the 47th Rose of Tralee.
