Top Mayo GAA club prepares for official opening of splendid new facilities

The official opening of Aghamore GAA clubhouse’ s new extension will take place on Sunday, August 31, at 3 p.m. The extension has a gym, dressing rooms, and a physio room.

The official opening will be performed by Dara Calleary TD, Minister for Rural and Community Development.

There will be plenty of fun for all the family from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and activities includes: Races for all ages including novelty races, a penalty shoot-out, welly throwing competition, a five a-side blitz, guess the baby game, face painting, and a tug of war for adults.

Refreshments will be available on the day, with tea and coffee, and an ice-cream van will be at the venue, whilst a barbeque will also take place. There is also a special gate prize.

A memorable day is anticipated for all associated with Aghamore GAA as the east Mayo club celebrates another major development.
