Boost for Mayo town as new commercial units receive planning approval

Planning permission has been approved for a new commercial development at the Cornmarket in Ballinrobe.

The development, by Niall Tiernan, consists of the demolition of existing detached dwelling house and domestic storage sheds.

It will be replaced by the construction of a mixed-use development comprising two ground floor commercial units (gross floor area for commercial use 214 sq.m), two three-bedroom apartments and two two-bedroom apartments.

The project is subject to 11 planning conditions.
