Water supply disruption in Mayo next Monday

Mayo County Council has advised that essential maintenance works in Westport will result in water outages and possible traffic disruption early next week.

The works, which form part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme, are scheduled to take place on Monday, September 2, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Areas affected include the Sacred Heart School, Castlebar Road, and surrounding areas in Westport.

Householders and businesses are reminded that it may take three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.

The council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
