Speaking at at the launch Ballinrobe Rugby Club President Deirdre Burke said that this is a massive fundraiser for the club.
“This is a massive fundraiser for us as a club and the last time we held a major fundraiser was in 2011.
"We hope to have 30 contestants involved in the ‘Quid Games’ and the monies raised by the contestants will go towards facilities for the club.
"The club has grown hugely over the last number of years, especially at underage level.
"As well as the men’s teams, we also have a women’s team. We did not have a women’s team for 20 years. This fundraiser is for the betterment of our club and developing the facilities.”
