Gardaí investigating criminal damage by fire in Mayo town

Gardaí in Mayo are continuing their investigations into a number of incidents of criminal damage by fire which occurred in the early hours of yesterday in Ballina.

They are keen to speak with anyone who was in the Parkside area and may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour between 2 and 2:30 a.m.

It is understood damage was caused to two vehicles.

They are also appealing to any motorists who were travelling on the Foxford to Ballina Road (N26) at the time and may be in possession of dashcam footage, to make this available to investigating gardaí.
