National Learning Network to open new centre in Mayo

The National Learning Network (NLN) will officially open its new centre at Linenhall Street, Castlebar, on Monday next, September 15, at 11.30 a.m.

The grand opening will be attended by special guest, Hildegarde Naughton, Minister of State at the Department of Children, Disability and Equality.

The new training centre, to be known as NLN Linenhall Street, will offer specialised, person-centred training courses in an inclusive environment for people with disabilities, autism, mental health challenges, and people recovering from an accident or illness.

The National Learning Network (NLN), part of the Rehab Group, is a supported training service with over 50 locations across Ireland.

NLN continues to operate a training centre at Breaffy Road, Castlebar, which has supported hundreds of students, over many years, to gain confidence and develop key skills.

The new centre at Linenhall Street, will offer HSE-funded training courses with the added advantage of the central setting, enabling students with additional support needs to make connections in the heart of the community in Castlebar.
