Lighting up east Mayo club's facilities

LIGHTING up works are underway at Charlestown Sarsfields GAA Club and its adjoining walkways.

Preparatory works have commenced on the installation of new state of the art floodlights on the club's training pitch, the Colm Horkan Memorial Pitch, and on the walkways around both pitches.

Once completed, they will be a fantastic addition to playing facilities.

In an update on its social media, the club explained that while the initial construction phase is taking place the walkways around the Colm Horkan Memorial Pitch will be closed to the public until this Friday, September 12, with apologies for any inconvenience caused.
