Disruption for Mayo motorists in weeks ahead with works on N5

MOTORISTS travelling on the N5 in the Castlebar area can expect delays in the weeks ahead as road works get underway.

Road surfacing works will take place on the N5 Castlebar to Ballyvary Road at Liscromwell, on a 3.5km stretch, from Monday, September 15, for a period of seven weeks.

Traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place, Mayo County Council has advised.

Local diversions will also be in place.
