Mayo motorist caught driving in the dark without headlights on

A Mayo motorist is facing court proceedings are being stopped by gardaí in Ballyhaunis for driving in the dark without the headlights switched on.

The driver was also found to be driving while sitting on the seat belt, the NCT had expired for over a year and the vehicle was not insured.

The vehicle was seized by gardaí.
