The thundery downpours will be confined to the south-east coast, according to the latest forecast.

Take a look below at what the weather has in store for the county.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19

Tomorrow, Friday, is going to be a mainly dry day, with some bright or sunny spells extending from the west.

Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees in light to moderate southwest to west winds.

The weekend brings the potential for some unsettled wet and possibly windy conditions, especially to the south and east, but with the possibility for those conditions to be more widespread.

It's going to turn much cooler over the weekend.

Current indications are for a much improved weather picture for the early days of next week, with high pressure building in from the west, though it's going to continue cool.
