Mayo set to be cool and dry this weekend
Scattered showers and cloudy conditions to persist across the weekend, according to the latest forecast.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20
Mostly dry at first on Saturday with a mix of cloud and sunny spells.
Cloudier conditions with scattered showers will spread from the northwest through the day.
Some will be heavy with a chance of isolated thunderstorms.
Cooler than of late with top temperatures of 13 to 16 Celsius.
Light breezes at first, will become northerly and increase moderate to fresh and gusty, with strong to near gale force winds developing near coasts.
Feeling much cooler but generally dry and settled from Sunday onwards.
SATURDAY NIGHT:
Breezy with scattered showers, or perhaps longer spells of rain in the east and south at first.
Showers will gradually become largely confined to the northwest by morning with clear spells developing overnight.
Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in mostly moderate northwest to north winds, fresh near coasts.
