Mayo man appointed to top role at national radio station
Accomplished Mayo broadcaster Nathan Murphy has appointed to the role of managing editor at TodayFM.
The Ballyhaunis man will take up the role next month.
Murphy began his career as a sports reporter with the radio station in 2006 before moving to Off The Ball on Newstalk where he held the position of deputy editor and head of content.
He also led the show’s growth on radio, digital audio and video.
Speaking this evening about his move, he said he looked forward to the challenge ahead.
Today FM has a weekly audience of 928,000 listeners.
