Market Square canopy in Mayo county town to be replaced

THE canopy at Market Square in Castlebar, destroyed during Storm Éowyn, is due to be replaced before year end.

A report to councillors from the municipal district explained how quotations have been sought and an order has been made for the replacement of the canopy.

It is expected to be installed by mid-November.
