Mayo Mayhem windsurfing event postponed

THE hugely successful Mayo Mayhem windsurfing event, which was due to take place this weekend, has been postponed to the following weekend of October 3 to 5.

Unfortunately, conditions this weekend were not ideal, with light or no winds forecast and an unfavourable wind direction.

Organiser Malcolm Scott has noted there is a big weather system approaching next weekend which should allow for three days of top-class conditions and windsurfing.

Mayo Mayhem, powered by RWE, is Ireland’s premier windsurfing event, attracting top windsurfers from Ireland and overseas to compete along the Wild Atlantic Way.
