Halt called to number of Mayo 'STOP' signs being vandalised

Concerns are growing over the number of Mayo 'STOP' signs being vandalised.

Castlebar Councillor Al McDonnell hit out: “I don't know what people get out of removing a STOP sign at a dangerous junction.”

This, he said, had occurred in his area.

While asking for the situation to be monitored, Councillor McDonnell asked for damaged signs to be replaced.
