Ground work starts on new Mayo GAA pitch

GROUND has been broken on a new GAA pitch in east Mayo.

It will be located in Bohola, as part of the local community park development.

Durkan Bohola Community Park announced the 'huge milestone' as the contractor begins the first stage of preparing the ground for the development of a GAA field next spring.

“It’s incredible to see real progress happening right before our eyes - another big step towards Bohola having a GAA pitch,” they said.

Thanks was extended to everyone who has supported the project, through fundraising, volunteering, and spreading the word, making this dream a reality for the community and future generations.
