Mayo GAA club organises 'gear swap' event for Climate Action Week

As part of Climate Action Week, Swinford GAA Club are organising a gear swap event.

It will be held in Swinford Cultural Centre this Saturday (October 11) from 3 to 5 p.m.

The initiative offers parents a great opportunity to offload some gear their children have grown out of, and also the chance to pick up some newer items.

Gear can be dropped off on Friday (October 10) between 8 and 10 p.m. to Swinford Cultural Centre. Items accepted include boots, jerseys, tops, shorts and bottoms, which must be clean and of good quality.

On Saturday, from 3 to 5 p.m., the items will be on offer in Swinford Cultural Centre and, after paying entry of €5 per person (or €15 per family), customers may browse away contentedly.
