Mayo businesses encouraged to register for all-island Government Supply Expo

Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Alan Dillon TD, is urging businesses across Mayo to register for the Government Supply Expo 2025.

The event promises to be the largest procurement gathering of the year, taking place at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin, on Tuesday, November 11.

Organised by the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) in partnership with InterTradeIreland, the Expo will bring together over 1,500 attendees and more than 40 public sector exhibitors, including leading organisations such as the HSE, ESB, An Post, Uisce Éireann, Dublin Bus, DAA, Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council, and many more.

Minister Dillon said: “This is a significant opportunity for businesses in Mayo, particularly SMEs, micro enterprises and social enterprises, to engage directly with public sector buyers, explore upcoming procurement opportunities, and build valuable partnerships.

‘The event is free to attend and open to all suppliers and public sector buyers.

It plays a vital role in supporting all-island trade, helping businesses understand cross-border procurement and access supports offered by InterTradeIreland, including the highly regarded Go-2-Tender programme.”

Attendees will benefit from expert-led sessions covering green and sustainable public procurement, innovation in procurement, tendering tips and best practices, available supports and resources for suppliers.

“Selling to government is a powerful way for SMEs and indigenous companies to grow.

The Government Supply Expo 2025 offers a unique chance to meet procurement experts, public buyers and fellow suppliers.

I strongly encourage any business interested in public sector opportunities to attend,” concluded Minister Dillon.
