Mayo man remanded on bail in Ballinrobe machete case
A Ballinrobe man has pleaded guilty to possession of a machete at a Mayo filling station almost three years ago.
Christopher Barrett, aged 28, of Lough Mask Road, Ballinrobe, appeared before Castlebar Circuit Criminal Court.
He admitted possession of a bladed article, namely a machete, at Corrib Oil, Neale Road, Ballinrobe, on January 31, 2023.
Judge Eoin Garavan remanded Barrett on continuing bail with the case adjourned until the court on February 10, 2026.
