Positive housing news for Mayo village with 21 new units

A 21-unit housing project in Knock has been granted planning permission by Mayo County Council.

The development is an extension of an existing estate at Drum, Knock, about 750 metres from the village roundabout, and has a mix of property types.

In a representation to planners, Councillor Richard Finn highlighted the need for development and housing in Knock, saying it was good to see a developer willing to start work in these times.

The proposal is phase two of an original completed project and is serviced by water, sewage and electricity.
