Mayo Karate Academy celebrates national victory

Mayo Karate Academy's Aaron McLoughlin was crowned senior male kumite champion at the Irish International Open, held at the National Sports Arena in Blanchardstown last weekend.

Aaron, head coach at Mayo Karate Academy (MKA), is a fantastic role model for all students, showing that with consistency, passion and perseverance, great things can be achieved both on and off the mat.

Everyone associated with MKA would like to congratule Aaron on this outstanding achievement. His success brings immense pride to the academy and the local community.

Aaron has represented Ireland in international competition and is a previous winner of the Darragh Doherty Perpetual Cup for Outstanding Young Sportsman in The Connaught Telegraph Young Sports Stars Awards.
