Mayo man pleads guilty to seven counts of sexual assault
A Mayo man has pleaded guilty to seven counts of sexual assault.
The man, who cannot be named in order to protect the identity of his victims, appeared before Castlebar Circuit Criminal Court.
The court heard the offending spanned over a 13-year period between 1996 and 2009.
The crimes were committed against five female victims at two locations in a Mayo town.
Judge Eoin Garavan adjourned the case until December 19 for sentencing.
