Gold for Mayo boys in National Autumn Cross Country Relays

Claremorris Athletic Club’s Under 13 boys claimed gold in the national cross country relays, which were held in Abbotstown on Sunday last.

In wet and challenging conditions, against teams from across Ireland, the south Mayo boys produced a brilliant team performance to take top honours.

Congratulations to Luke Duffy, Dean Kirrane, Harry Mulkeen and Philip Griffith on a fantastic team effort.

This marks their third national relay medal of the year and their first national cross country medal.

The boys' teamwork and determination were evident throughout the race, once again showcasing the strength and spirit of Claremorris AC’s young athletes.
