Mayo Oireachtas member opens constituency office in home town
Mayo Fine Gael Senator Mark Duffy has opened a constituency office at Garden Street in his home town of Ballina.
The new premises was officially opened by Minister for Arts, Culture, Communications, Media and Sport, Patrick O’Donovan, with a large gathering of supporters and party colleagues in attendance.
Stated Senator Duffy: “I express my sincere thanks to Minister Patrick O’Donovan for coming to Ballina to cut the ribbon on my new office.
"Thanks also to my party colleagues, Alan Dillon TD, Keira Keogh TD, Councillor Alma Gallagher, Councillor Gerry Coyle, Councillor John O’Hara, Councillor Jarlath Munnelly and Councillor Marie Therese Duffy for joining me and to all the local party members, family and friends for their support.
“I am committed to being available and responsive to the needs of the community and this office will allow people direct access to their local representative.
"My team and I will be available to listen, to help and to work hard on their behalf - whether it’s housing, healthcare, education or local development we will ensure that every voice is heard and every concern is addressed.
