Mayo students graduate with Dublin City University degrees
A total of 12 ceremonies have taken place in the Mahony Hall in The Helix, featuring students from Dublin City University’s five faculties.
The faculties are the DCU Business School, the Institute of Education, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Science & Health, and the Faculty of Engineering & Computing.
This year saw the first graduates from 12 new DCU courses; Graduate Certificate in Autism Education, Master of Education in Special Educational, BSc in Physics with Data Analytics, BSc in Psychology and Disruptive Technology, BSc in Psychology and Mathematics, Master of Engineering in Mechanical and Sustainability Engineering, BSc in Digital Business and Innovation, Master of Science in Financial Technology and Innovation, Master of Science in Athletic Therapy and Strength and Conditioning, BSc in Chemistry with Artificial Intelligence, Graduate Certificate in Women's Health and BSc in Bioprocessing.
Speaking at the graduation ceremonies, Professor Daire Keogh, president of Dublin City University, said: “The graduation ceremony is one of the most important occasions in any university calendar.
"This is a proud day for the entire DCU community, as we recognise and celebrate the academic achievements of our students.
"As they start the next chapter, I am confident that they will continue to honour DCU’s enduring mission, ‘to transform lives and societies’.”
